Poetical Musings
This shall be an index for the poetry I create erratically. All works are open to harsh criticism. Enjoy.

The Foreign Mountain
For though it sits in quiet sorrow, there will be peace when love returns to the deep.
While the mountain shows not its outward pain or anguish, its mantle of snowy tears decries its fate.
Despite the silent quakes in calling, none can notice upon the solitary peak.
Under the bluffs unmoving, the scars of grief still run deep.
Fallen amidst pain and madness,
No silent soul shall show,
The native courage of the heart,
To strive against fate,
And climb that mountain once again.
The Seer's Sea
An evanescent hovering of a ship adrift in the sea of time,
Humming the vague tunes of the lost,
The navigator lost in the dreams of futures seas,
Oblivious to the silver-tinged black clouds ahead,
While the crew mills in the senseless silence,
The captain mourns the loss of his anchor,
With only the cook’s desire to silence the rumbling hunger of the present.
Where and whither will the winds blow this ship of purpose?
And when shall the will overcome the coming waves?
For though it sits in quiet sorrow, there will be peace when love returns to the deep.

Re: Poetical Musings
The Songmaster's Psalm
The dawn’s light through the slitted trees casts a diffuse glow across the swirling mists,
A cavorting phantom in the light beckons from the fog across the chasm,
Streamers of vapor follow the flitting feet through the ethereal dance of the veil,
With knowing eyes and a sly grin, the apparition entices to taste the heights.
The daring, devilish play and glow in the brume illuminates the ghost in the gloom,
Then a ringing clap and a slight bow, the wraith vanishes in the twilight.
The wind echoes, “Welcome to the show my friends…”
The mountain’s silent refrain, “…enjoy the Carnival.”
(Unlike the two above, this is actually going to be part of a story, but nonetheless, I would like it to be good on its own. Also, I don't really like the title, but I can't think up a better one. This is an intro story for a storyteller or a bard.)
