Gallery Photos

I just tried out the Gallery feature and promptly created my own little giggling gallery.

So much for the things that worked.

After having found the "Upload Photos" button (took me a while), I was welcomed by the following message:

"The size of all the pictures is higher than the allowed limit. You cannot send more."

I did not upload any files, so I guess it means a global limit.

Oh, man. Wow. Kaito, you are right. I just checked our storage, and it says that it's full. That is not good. We only have 6 users with albums, and I paid so that we could have the most storage available! Hmm. Well, this isn't going to be fair. Even if I set a limit of 5 or so photos per person, it will only end up being a select few of the community who gets to have an album. I don't like that at all.

You know what? I bet there's some other website that will allow us to have a community album with way more storage space (around as much space as a Photobucket account - which is a ton). I think I'm just going to take down our Gallery for now and see what else I can find for us to use, because this is clearly not going to work out.

Maybe just have a photobucket account and then link to it. That's what my other forum does.

I don't have, or even would have a gallery though, so it's just a suggestion.

I was kind of thinking something along those lines also, Diodri, since I was unsuccessful in finding anything that we could use...

However!

Our own tech guy (AKA onenitedrive) has found us a really amazing album that is perfect! We will have unlimited storage, and anyone who wants to sign up, can! Everyone will get their own personal album to upload in. We're working on putting it together.

YAY!

Our gallery is so fancy, that it even lets you upload videos! Thank you onenitedrive, for finding this for us!

For future Monthly Features, we will be featuring photos that people upload in our new Gallery. (I'm sorry our original one was such a failure with its terrible limited storage.) We will be looking for photos that are original, artistic, high-quality, creative, unique, interesting, and just stand out among the rest.

Also -- If we get quite a lot of videos uploaded to the new Gallery, then we may include a Video of the Month feature. :]
